Data Collection

Qreate does not collect any personal or identifying data.

No user accounts are required, and no personal information is stored or tracked by the app.

All scans and generated codes are stored locally on your device only.

Camera Access

Qreate requires access to your device’s camera only to scan QR codes and barcodes at your request.

This permission is used solely for scanning and is never accessed in the background.

Product Lookup (Optional Feature)

If you enable the product lookup feature in Settings, Qreate may send a scanned barcode number to the Open Food Facts public database to retrieve product details.

This API request:

• Happens only when the user opts in
• Is used solely to fetch product information
• Does not include personal data, device identifiers, or any user identity
• Does not track or profile users
